Meet Our Director

Rhonda Frye serves on staff at Battlefield Parkway as the Worship Leader and has since January 2015. Before Rhonda was called into music ministry, she worked in the field of early childhood education for over twenty years. She taught all ages in preschool and daycare settings and worked in children’s ministries such as Sunday school, VBS, children’s music, and more. In October 2017 the leadership of the church asked Rhonda to expand her ministry to include Noah’s Ark Christian Learning Center. Rhonda seized the opportunity embracing the great potential to impact the lives of children.

Rhonda believes children are indeed precious gifts from God who are deserving of unconditional love. Rhonda’s “servanthood” philosophy comes from Matthew 18:5: “Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.” She explains, “Children are at our mercy when it comes to being cared for and when we show them mercy, we’re really serving Jesus Himself. Serving Jesus is a high calling and warrants excellence!”

Rhonda’s husband, Eric, supports her in this ministry and often volunteers by keeping the building/grounds in good repair. The Fryes have been married twenty-nine years, have three grown children, two grand-girls and make their home in Ringgold, Georgia.

About the Learning Center

Noah's Ark Christian Learning Center is a ministry of the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Jesus is the reason we exist, and it is our desire to serve Him by providing this much-needed ministry to children and families in our area. Our goal in all we do is to honor and praise Him. We will strive to have your child's experience with us Christ-honoring.
